HERMETIA VALLEY: BUG BUTTER
Hermetia Valley: Bug Butter is a conceptual screen printed packaging design project that explores what products could look like in the future as climate change begins to impact us more and more.
Products that we once took for granted like butter may become no longer viable and the new more sustainable options that arise will need to be marketed to consumers. This presents a clear challenge as many of these solutions may not be so glamorous. Bug butter explores the use of cutesy packaging to conceal and make more comfortable some of the seemingly repulsive and off-putting nature of the new realities consumers will begin to face.
